A new baby, a tired mom. What should you purchase for a gift? How about a gift basket for the new mom? Essentially it’s a mommy and baby gift basket combined! Most likely mom has had a baby shower and has enough clothes for a year. Why not get some gifts to help relax her? A gift basket is perfect and even more for the holidays! After the Baby Arrives

Once baby is born, everyone asks, how is the baby doing. But rarely do we, moms get asked how are we feeling? Our bodies go through so much for 9 months. 9 months of nausea, not being able to eat and we crave certain things, that are must haves! As our bellies get bigger, our backs start to hurt. We can no longer sleep on our bellies (my favorite way to sleep), leg cramps because baby is sitting on a nerve and then delivery. Every delivery experience is different. I can say my last 2 deliveries were quite the story. My water broke at home with my now 15 month old. The ambulance took me to the hospital and I delivered 5 minutes later. Luckily the hospital is a few minutes from my home!

Anyway, my point is, moms go through a lot, from carrying baby, the delivery process and then the newborn stages of nighttime feedings and sore nipples from breastfeeding in the beginning. We need some relax time too! Not that we get any in the beginning but it’s nice to have these RELAXING gifts for WHEN we do have that time. I know I would love this gift basket for myself!

Lastly, purchase a basket to store the gifts.  No wrapping required!  Tie a bow around the basket and voila!   The new mom can then use the basket for storing diapers, toys and more!
