Planning a Disney Trip In 2 Months!

Planning a Disney trip in 2 months sounds crazy! Disney takes months if not a year or 2 to plan. It is a huge trip that is also super expensive! The reason my trip was just a couple of months of planning was because we never planned to go this year. We were planning to go next year. However, my husband’s aunt invited us to stay in her Florida vacation home. We then decided to go and surprise our oldest to Disney for his birthday! It turned out to be perfect!

Traveling with Kids

Traveling with kids is not bad, except when they are little! Which is why you really have to plan in advance to make sure you have everything you need! Planning a Disney trip can add more stress. I never planned to take my toddler to Disney. Which is why I never took my boys when they were younger. However, my two older have a large age difference from my little one.

Packing List

A Disney trip or any trip for that matter requires a packing list. It makes things so much easier. Check off the things you have as you pack! Keep a ongoing list, as your not going to remember everything the minute you start writing. Start buying things every week leading up to the trip. I found it helpful to make a list of the things I needed to buy on the same sheet of paper I wrote what I needed to pack.

I hope I can help you plan a smooth trip with my packing list!

What Do You Really Need?

Everyone packs differently, but we all have the same essentials. Think of what you use everyday. Make things simple by buying small travel size bottles to fill your hair products or buy travel size. A week is just enough for these travel size products. Some products are hard to find in travel size, which is why the small bottles are good to purchase. Contact lense cases are also great for night cream or serum, since you only need a dab! Check out my post 7 Disney Things To Pack For Toddlers (Must Haves).

  1. I still remember when we went to Disneyland with my parents as a child, I had such a great time!!! 🙂

    • Sorry I just saw this! Somehow it went into spam! You are going to have a great time! Especially now that everything is starting to open up! Have a great time!

  2. There are SO many Disney blogs, videos, etc that almost overwhelm me and make me feel as though I don’t have the energy to plan a Disney trip. Ha, ha! My husband just told me yesterday, “Let’s just plan like three must-do things and – other than that – let’s just go and enjoy ourselves.” It made it sounds SO much more simple. Ha, ha. For real, I just want to go and experience it, and I don’t feel as though I have a ton of “must do” activities.
Do you feel as though someone could ‘just go’ and have fun and not stress about all there is to know about everything? We’re really easily pleased, so I’m thinking that’s possible… Ha, ha! 🙂
Your list is awesome and helpful!!

    • Hi Nicole! Thank you! And absolutely! Just enjoy your time. There so many things to do and many I didn’t get to visit on my last trip. I agree there are sooo many blogs about Disney and it can be overwhelming. We of course have things in mind we would like to do but try not get disappointed if you don’t get to visit every ride or restaurant. Your husband has a great plan. Go and have fun and enjoy the scenery! I hope you have an awesome time ❤️
