Avocado Dressing With Cilantro And Lime
Avocados are so creamy and full of healthy fats. I haven’t made avocado dressing with cilantro and lime in a while. I serve it many different ways. However, this morning I really wanted avocado dressing for breakfast. It only takes 5 minutes to make and my avocados were already ripe. Why not! Avocados are especially great to have when you want a filling meal. Many times I have eggs and avocado for breakfast with fruit. I don’t care to have toast with eggs most of the time.
Just 5 Minutes
When I tell you this dressing only took me 5 minutes, it took me just 5 minutes! No need to dirty dishes either. All you need is a blender or food processor. Add all the ingredients and blend until smooth! If you don’t have a blender or food processor you could also do this by hand. It would only take you a few extra minutes. Mash the avocados, chop up at the cilantro and mix everything together. On top of making this avocado dressing you only need 3 ingredients!
You Will Need:
- 2 small avocados
- 1/2 lime
- Small cilantro bunch
- Salt
- pepper
- Water
- hot sauce (optional)
Serve With
Thicker Consistency
Avocado dressing with cilantro and lime can be served with just about anything. Serve it thick to spread on toast,on tacos or use as a dip. This morning I served my dressing thick to dip in my boiled eggs. It makes a great appetizer, as well. Serve with pretzels, tortilla or veggie chips and even raw vegetables!
Thinner Consistency
Add more water to get a thinner consistency. By doing so you can easily drizzle on top of tacos or use as a salad dressing. Grill some chicken, fish or steak and drizzle some avocado dressing to serve. Extra flavors and good for you!

This sounds good. How long does it keep in the fridge?
Thanks! At most 3 days. It does turn dark like a banana does but still tastes great! If serving for a get together I recommend making it the same to keep the vibrant green color. Enjoy!
Thank you.
