3 Healthy Halloween Fruit Snacks

fruit snacks

Halloween is all about the candy and chocolates. SUGAR, SUGAR ,SUGAR! We all love that, of course! But a better, healthier way to enjoy the week leading up to Halloween is making healthier snack choices for your kiddos. Here are 3 healthy halloween fruit snacks to make!

Fruits and Chocolate

Many fruits taste soo good with chocolate. How about adding just a bit of chocolate to your fruit with some halloween touches? I have to say these were amazing to make! My son actually came up with the apple idea. Use your favorite fruits to make these halloween treats/snacks!

You will need:

How to Make:

Make sure you have a large surface to work on. You could hand each child an apple slice, half a banana, an orange and the chocolate. However, I ended up just working on one surface. They wanted to watch me make the treats. It only took 15 minutes! My kids were super excited to just eat the chocolate fruit instead of making them. LOL

Mummies

To make the mummies, drizzle chocolate back and forth. You could add small hard candies or mini m&m’s for the eyes. I, however, did not have any and so I cut a few pieces of marshmallows for the eyes.

Pumpkins

Add a pumpkin face to the apples for the chocolate. I am definitely not an artist and so you can see in the pictures the eyes and mouth are not perfect!

Now for the oranges, it was a lot easier, since all you need is a sharpie to draw the pumpkin face!

Some Tips:

My Kids Loved this!

My kids were so excited to eat the apple and orange pumpkins, along with the mummy bananas. This is a great way for your kids to eat their fruits. The chocolate is really just a hint and not smothered with extra sugars.
