My posts this week will be all about healthiness. Since the holidays are over, it is hard to stop those sweet cravings. I love making protein balls since they are filling and healthy. There are some people you never know what to get them. A few reasons are, they have everything, are picky or just don’t have hobbies. They just go to work and go home. This is where edible gifts win. The perfect gift idea for the pet lover. Make gingerbread cookies shaped like an animal! In my case, I made gingerbread cookies shaped like dogs and dog bones! If you don't like gingerbread cookies, make sugar cookies!
Lately most of my posts have been Pumpkin spice inspired recipes. After the holidays, I probably wont use it as much. December is more peppermint and chocolates for me. However, I will be gifting pretty jars of 3 Ingredient Pumpkin Spice Pecans for Christmas. I am also going to make breads, like this chocolate pumpkin spice bread.
What equals fall foods? Pumpkin spice, of course. You see it on the commercials and on many blogs. I too am obsessed with pumpkin spice everything! My husband loves spiced nuts. It was delicious and simple to make, with only 3 ingredients!
Every Halloween we bake spider cookies as a family. A tradition that started when the boys were preschoolers. It’s fun that we are still carrying out the tradition years later. I found this recipe on Epicurious. On the website it is listed as tarantula cookies. Since then I have changed it up a bit.

Now that fall is upon us and colder mornings you make be getting sick of cucumbers or just have no idea what to do what all those cucumbers! I have a couple of ideas to help you use them up!
Besides dessert what can I make to incorporate fall spices into my dish? I had apples leftover from apple picking and wanted to use them since I plan on apple picking again LOL . Why not make an apple cinnamon sauce to serve over grilled chicken and use the leftovers for dessert?! Perfect! It was a nice sweet dish that had FALL written all over it. This was definitely a hit in my home and this apple cinnamon sauce will be a go to this fall season.
