Organize your Linen Closet (Declutter)
Have you tried and tried to organize your linen closet but it always seems to become messy over time? I have tried that too many times and kept failing every time. I finally found a cheap and quick solution! For some time I was looking for bins that were cheap and in a neutral color. I really did not want to spend between $6-$11 on each bin! I needed ten bins and so for me that did not make much sense.
After searching and searching online and hitting up a few stores I landed at my local Dollar Tree. I checked often but never found what I was looking for until now! Dollar tree usually has colorful bins and like I mentioned I really wanted neutral bins. I found white bins and wow what a difference has it made. Everything is tidier and easier to find and all for $10! It is not a place I would normally check for decor but the bins look great. I was thinking of labeling the bins but decided not to since I use the closet pretty frequently I know where everything is.
What to Store In Each Bin?
- Toilet Paper
- Cleaning Supplies (home and car)
- Batteries
- Command Strips
- Extension Cords
- Face towels
- Bath Towels
- Bed Sheets
- Winter Accessories (hats, gloves, scarves)
Now it is pretty easy to pull out the bins and slide them back in! I can now actually close the door without jamming!
***Tip*** Before purchasing bins make sure you measure your shelves so you don’t purchase too little or too many and that the bins are not too tall! I plan on working on the pantry and kitchen soon. Stay tuned!
