4 Easy Christmas Meals to Serve
This Christmas will be busier than last year. Many families will get together, since last year was a wash. Last year was definitely stress free since most of us stayed home. Now if you are hosting or having a small gathering, it can become overwhelming, with so many dishes to make and so little time! Here are 4 easy Christmas Meals to serve this year. You may even decide to make them every year!
Easy Christmas Meals
Appetizer
Do you want to serve the same appetizers you always serve or make something different? Honestly, appetizers aren’t always easy because there are so many choices! I do love making my own instead of buying them. It just make things more special! Try my Christmas Pico de Gallo (3 Ingredients). I call it Christmas pico de gallo because it has the red and green holiday colors! Serve this with tortilla chips or pita chips!
Main Meal
Cooking is so much fun! But of course on special days, it’s not always so much fun! Why not roast a turkey or duck for Christmas. I personally don’t make turkey after Thanksgiving. I’ve had enough for a while, at this point! Although it is tradition with many families to make turkey and ham for Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter. If you want to go for something different, try my Sweet and Tender Roast Duck (Absolutely Delicious). For Christmas I never stick to the same meal every year but I am thinking of making this, this year. It is AMAZING! Duck is a fatty bird and not much meat, so you may need two ducks if you are having more than 4 for dinner. Serve this with a side salad, but not just any salad. Try my Pomegranate Winter Salad (Perfect for the Holidays).
Dessert
And finally dessert! After cooking and cleaning, you must be exhausted. But maybe not so much since the appetizer and main meal weren’t so bad, on this list. While your duck is roasting in the oven, you can make your salad and dessert! Go for a Christmas themed dessert without any baking. Try my Chocolate Peppermint Bark (Every Christmas). I make this every Christmas for my home and as gifts. It’s so easy to make and overall festive! Who doesn’t love chocolate?!
