A while ago, a school parent and I were talking about breastfeeding and she told me she felt like a cow everytime she pumped. I still remember that. I completely agree with that statement! I returned to work temporarily after I had my youngest. I would pump using my Medela Pump. Well a month into work, the pandemic came along and I started working from home. Boy was I glad, since I was pumping to relieve myself, as my son has always refused the bottle. My husband would come up so I could feed him. I felt so guilty, that my son was starving because he refused the bottle! Anyway, the plus of working from home, is being home with my kids. I really disliked pumping and discovered the haakaa breast pump. This is why you should get the haakaa breast pump!
It is important to keep your toddler active, busy and learning! There are many gymnastics benefits for toddlers because you get to bond with your child, but also teach your little one social skills. Having a newborn is already tough enough. Add breastfeeding to the mix and it becomes a lot harder and MORE exhausting. I decided to nurse my youngest. This was brand new to me as I did not breastfeed my first two sons. Bottle feeding was so much easier than breastfeeding. Why would I want to breastfeed? Well, there are so many benefits to breastfeeding and this time around I had the time to do it. You can read my experience with Breastfeeding vs Formula – My Experience to get a perspective of both! My first 2 sons are both under a year apart. Therefore, I was super overwhelmed and new to parenting, at the time. There are a few stages you go through breastfeeding newborn - 12 months.

How do you celebrate baby's first birthday? Growing up my mother had birthday parties for my sisters and I every year. My birthday is on New Year’s Eve so there was always a celebration. I however did not keep the tradition for my children. Especially celebrating baby’s first birthday. My tradition is to bake a cake and decorate it. As the they get older the boys pick something they would like to do for their birthday. One year we did indoor skydiving! That was super fun! Anyway, I picked a jungle theme to celebrate my baby’s first birthday!
