Who doesn’t love appetizers?! I mean, so many options and different things to make and try!  I personally don’t understand football, as much as my husband explains it to me.  The real reason is, I am just not interested in it.  However, I love Super Bowl Sunday for the appetizers LOL. Guacamole

Every year on Super Bowl Sunday I make guacamole and serve it with tortilla chips. My recipe is easy and delicious. And it is super easy to double or triple it! This year avocados are also cheaper than they were last year. That’s a plus! Serving a crowd on a budget!

Chicken Wings

Second I always make chicken wings! I make 2 different flavors. Plain BBQ is too plain and not fun. I have a few different marinades I like to use. Wings are easy to make and everyone expects them on football Sunday!

Bite Size Finger Food

Slice some cucumbers and add a dollop of mashed guacamole to each cucumber. Grill some shrimp with cajun seasoning or even lemon pepper and add to each cucumber. Makes a great light bite and super delicious!

Pizza Muffins

I actually just made pizza muffins for my kids this week. It’s mess free and easy to make. I love that it’s portable too. Make plain cheese or add pepperoni or olives! I also think they look like roses, which makes for a nice presentation.

Try Something New

I make something different to try each year, as well. Last year I made French garlic bread, stuffed with breaded chicken and cheese. Now this isn’t something new. I like making this a few times a year. It is a recipe I found on Pinterest. It is one of my favorite go to pins! Slice the French bread and serve with pasta sauce or marinara sauce!
