Recycle, Repurpose, Reuse
Do you ever wonder what you should do with that pretty pasta jar after all the pasta is gone? It is super important to recycle, repurpose and reuse. We waste so much, so why not recycle and repurpose things you can reuse.
I want to show you how you can repurpose things you already own at home! It makes it more fun when you don’t have to spend lots of money or any at all when redecorating or reorganizing your home!
Here Are Some Ideas:
One my favorite ideas is to make a sewing a jar using an old pasta or pickle jar.
Wrap jute around an old vase to give it a new face.
Make a “cake stand” – I glued a plastic food vase to a plastic platter plate and used craft paint. I now use it to store my perfumes, face products, etc.
What to do with those wonderful sturdy iPhone boxes. Wrap some nice ribbon and add a piece of jewelry or button to the front. Store hair clips and elastics, use it for office supplies, etc.
Temporary or Permanent Use
Reuse a peanut butter jar to store chocolate chips or other sweets you may eat often. Since these jars are not air tight they are perfect for edibles eaten often! I love using jars to drink smoothies out of, jewelry storage, hair accessories, paints and paint brushes. There are many different ways to use jars and boxes!
Enjoy!
