Memorial Day is around the corner and the weather has been great. This time around, it is going to be a big celebration here in Massachusetts, as our governor is removing all COVID restrictions, starting on May 29th. Just in time for Memorial Day. Because the weather is so nice, I have started using my grill. I made a Citrus Grilled Snapper, that I have to share with you. And I thought, this would be a great meal to make on the grill. Healthy and so satisfying!
Sleep training and night weaning a toddler isn’t easy. My son is 20 months and I can now officially say my son is sleep trained and can sleep throughout the night without his “bee bee.” I have been trying to get my toddler to sleep in his crib throughout the night without nursing every 2 hours for months! Here is how I did it.
Planning a Disney trip in 2 months sounds crazy! Disney takes months if not a year or 2 to plan. It is a huge trip that is also super expensive! The reason my trip was just a couple of months of planning was because we never planned to go this year. We were planning to go next year. However, my husband's aunt invited us to stay in her Florida vacation home. We then decided to go and surprise our oldest to Disney for his birthday! It turned out to be perfect!
Since getting back from vacation and moving a week after, I haven't been interested in cooking much. I mean there has been a lot going on, including officially sleep training and night weaning my son! I'll get back into the swing of things! For lunch I made an easy vegetable platter. This was the perfect light lunch and not much cooking required!
I love making my Protein Granola Balls Dipped in Chocolate but they are protein balls. Meaning they are higher in calories for the purpose of having more protein on the go! I decided to recreate them and make low calorie energy balls with less calories. These low calorie energy balls are 80 calories a ball and I was able to make 16 of them! Super satisfying and perfect to snack on when your doing nothing, in terms of moving around at home!
Traveling with babies and toddlers is never a fun idea. You want to be prepared, as much as possible. This was my first time flying with a toddler as I never flew with my older 2 when they were little. This time around we were celebrating my son’s 11th birthday. His birthday gift to Disney. And with a nursing toddler, who is very attached to me, there was no way he was staying behind! Here are my tips, traveling with babies and toddlers!
A while ago, a school parent and I were talking about breastfeeding and she told me she felt like a cow everytime she pumped. I still remember that. I completely agree with that statement! I returned to work temporarily after I had my youngest. I would pump using my Medela Pump. Well a month into work, the pandemic came along and I started working from home. Boy was I glad, since I was pumping to relieve myself, as my son has always refused the bottle. My husband would come up so I could feed him. I felt so guilty, that my son was starving because he refused the bottle! Anyway, the plus of working from home, is being home with my kids. I really disliked pumping and discovered the haakaa breast pump. This is why you should get the haakaa breast pump!
I practically live in the kitchen. Every morning I cook breakfast, I make lunch and then dinner. Count the time cooking and cleaning up after! It is a good amount of hours a week, even when the meals are 15 minute meals. We all have our favorite kitchen items, that become our go to. I want to share with you my 7 Kitchen Gadget Must Haves that everyone should have!
