Double Chocolate Granola with Almonds
Granola is so yummy and easy to make! Since I learned to make granola a few years ago, I rarely ever buy store bought granola. Homemade is the way to go! It is absolutely easy to make and healthier since you can control the ingredients! Here is my double chocolate granola with almonds recipe!
Simple Ingredients
One of my favorite sweets to make is granola. I make it year round. It’s great to snack on and perfect on a parfait or acai bowl! The best part is it’s EASY! As if I haven’t said that already LOL. My homemade granola uses coconut oil instead of butter, which is healthier and perfect if you prefer a vegan option.
Main Ingredients
The main ingredients to my granola is maple syrup, refined coconut oil, salt and cinnamon. Cinnamon or pumpkin spice. Really depends on the recipe. My granola usually has between 6-9 ingredients. Nothing more.
For this double chocolate granola with almonds recipe you will need:
- coconut oil, refined
- maple syrup, the real stuff
- salt
- cinnamon
- unsweetened cocoa powder
- semi sweet chocolate chips

Holiday Gifts
Each holiday I pick a theme for gifting presents and for edible gifts. This year I may go with gifting this double chocolate granola or go with Chocolate Pumpkin Spice Bread (Super Moist). I like to keep things simple and who doesn’t like a homemade goodie during the holidays. Another favorite is Chocolate Peppermint Bark (Every Christmas) that I make every christmas. With just a few ingredients you can make a ton and package the bark up in small tins or holiday themed baggies.
What is your favorite type of granola?
Yummo, Azilde ?
