Isn’t it fun to make Christmas crafts!? It’s even more fun crafting with kids! Most kid crafts don’t last long as most are made with construction paper and may only last for one holiday season. What about making some crafts that you can use every holiday season and on a budget? How about making DIY easy Christmas window clings? All you need is fabric paints, parchment paper and templates! I bought some fabric paint at Michaels for a reasonable price that came out to about $9 using the coupons they offer weekly. Parchment paper, costs about $3-4 dollars and templates you can print or use other pictures you may have in coloring books or magazines, you may have lying around. Even kids picture books! Of course if you draw well or you like to create your own designs you don’t need templates.

Every Christmas I make Chocolate Peppermint Bark. I should say every December, as I make it a few times for my home and to gift! I enjoy making goodies that don’t require much work since I am usually making large batches. My favorite Christmas goodie is BARK! It is super easy and no cooking required! You really can’t mess this up unless you scare the chocolate during the double boiler method with water. If that’s the case, melt your chocolate in the microwave.
