Valentine's Day should be celebrated everyday instead of once a year. We should celebrate love everyday. Whether it's Valentine's Day or not. However, it is a cute holiday. I do like the candy and chocolate and the colors of pink and red! Very pretty. Valentine's Day is also another excuse to eat chocolate and other sweets. This year, instead of buying candy for the kids, I am making chocolate & fruit dessert. You get chocolate, but you also get the fruits! Valentine's Day Chocolate & Fruit Dessert!
I received the Ardell Addict Premium Nails for Christmas. For some time now I have been wanting to try these. I am not a make up girl but definitely like to get my nails done. Now with 3 kiddos, I honestly never get them done as often as I would like. Getting my nails done means me purchasing fake nails or nail strips, instead of going to the salon. Once a year, I treat myself to a manicure and pedicure at a nail salon. I know! Overtime though, I have falling in love with the ease of going to the store to buy nail strips or press on nails. In celebration of my birthday, which was on New Year's Eve, I decided to try the nails and give you an Ardell Nail Review.
There are so many reasons why keeping a routine is important for our health, mentally and physically. A new year, a fresh start. Let's reset and start focusing on ourselves and goals for once. We all start the new year off strong but then slowly fall back and return to what is comfortable for us. When COVID changed our lives for the forceable future, we all started new routines, more comfortable routines. Since we are still home for the most part.
Have you tried and tried to organize your linen closet but it always seems to become messy over time? I have tried that too many times and kept failing every time. I finally found a cheap and quick solution! For some time I was looking for bins that were cheap and in a neutral color. I really did not want to spend between $6-$11 on each bin! I needed ten bins and so for me that did not make much sense.
Do you get tons of holiday cards every year? What do you do with them? How about, reuse them! DIY Gift Tags for Christmas! Keep your favorite ones but use the rest to make holiday gift tags for the following Christmas. I actually do that for all types of cards, including Birthday cards. If you like the design, you can cut it into a circle or shape and use as a gift tag.
I definitely used to be materialistic growing up. But as I got older I learned to be a minimalist. Thanks to my husband, of course. Quality over quantity with clothes. And I have to say my closet has kept nicely with clothes that has lasted with classic outfits. As adults it is easy to become a minimalist. Is it easy to be a minimalist with children? Especially for Christmas? Of course it is! With my tips I can help you become a minimalist for everyone at home!
Isn't it fun to make Christmas crafts!? It's even more fun crafting with kids! Most kid crafts don't last long as most are made with construction paper and may only last for one holiday season. What about making some crafts that you can use every holiday season and on a budget? How about making DIY easy Christmas window clings? All you need is fabric paints, parchment paper and templates! I bought some fabric paint at Michaels for a reasonable price that came out to about $9 using the coupons they offer weekly. Parchment paper, costs about $3-4 dollars and templates you can print or use other pictures you may have in coloring books or magazines, you may have lying around. Even kids picture books! Of course if you draw well or you like to create your own designs you don't need templates.
Christmas is right around the corner and this year I am way behind on my shopping! With the pandemic, I haven't been the most enthusiastic to do any Christmas shopping. By December 1st I would have had everything done by now. My list is definitely smaller this year and I definitely like to budget my Christmas list. Can you come up with 5 ideas? I know! It is super hard to come up with ideas for every person on your list! How about 25 Christmas Gift Ideas on a Budget, under $20?! This list will definitely help you 😊
