It is important to keep your toddler active, busy and learning! There are many gymnastics benefits for toddlers because you get to bond with your child, but also teach your little one social skills. This is super beneficial for my son and probably many young children during this pandemic. My son is super attached to me and scared of everyone except for everyone in my home, which includes, his 2 brothers, my husband and myself. There is a new instructor in training in his swim class, so these last 2 weeks he hasn’t been too comfortable. It takes him longer to warm up to a male vs female. Must be the deep voice!

Playtime, of any form is super important but it’s nice to implement learning activities for their age. This helps advance their skills. A while ago I found the playfully app. (Not Sponsored). This app is geared for children ages 0-3 months. It lists fun and quick activities to play with your child, based on age. There is a paid version but I use the free one and it still provides plenty of fun!

My husband and I started the month of February with a challenge to omit red meat for the month. His birthday is on the 28th of this month. We will then celebrate his birthday with a nice steak! For me it was not difficult to omit red meat. I almost did forget one day will out but quickly remembered no cheeseburgers allowed! It was definitely harder for him. But when you challenge yourself once a month with someone else, it makes it easier. You have each other to motivate and you work even harder!

I prefer to bake or broil food instead of frying. For this recipe, I decided not to bread the shrimp. What would salt and pepper shrimp taste without the fried breading. After all it’s one of those appetizers that you can’t really say no to. Well I decided to take a chance and make salt and pepper shrimp (served 2 ways) in healthier way. Minus all the sodium in the salt! You really can’t make salt and pepper shrimp without the salt!

For some it’s for a few months, 6 months or once baby turns a year. There are many reasons for a mom to stop breastfeeding. Whether it be going back to work, pregnant or maybe just wants her breasts to herself LOL Breastfeeding past a year old was not my goal. I said once he turns one I am done. Well guess what? It was not up to me. My son is still nowhere close to ending breastfeeding and I am 100% ok with this!
