Kids can be picky. I am lucky my kids are not picky and eat everything I make. However, there are days I make certain meals for my husband and I. There are meals that I know they may not be interested in and I don't feel like making extra food for no reason. There are also times when we order sushi or something the kids don't eat. Herb Lemon Chicken Soup

Herb Lemon Chicken Soup

Soup with LOTS of lemon and lime is a must for me when it comes to chicken soup. I make herb lemon chicken soup several times during the winter. Surprisingly, I haven't made it much this winter. I love saving the leftovers, in the freezer for those sick days, as I don't enjoy canned soup much. Leftover soup tastes even better the following the day. It's even a better recipe for the crockpot. It smells so good cooking the whole day.

How To Make Chicken Wings (The Easy Way)

How To Make Chicken Wings (The Easy Way)

Last week I posted Everything But The Bagel Drumsticks. In that post I explained how to make drumsticks and my favorite dry rubs. This week I decided to show you how to make chicken wings, the easy way. I notice many people bake their chicken wings in sauces or fry them. Frying chicken wings are so delicious but the house smells and too much oil! I like to BROIL my wings and then add the sauce. You get a nice crispy and brown wing. Plus you get all the flavors in the sauce, without burning your wings! Add the sauce at the end and still get all the flavor! They are so good and easy to make! No need to guess if they are cooked through!

Drumsticks are super cheap. Probably one of the most cost effective meals! When I first started making drumsticks it was always BBQ drumsticks. Which I was not a big fan off. Large drumsticks need to have crunchy skin for the ultimate flavor. I made everything but the bagel drumsticks this time around. A seasoning that is so versatile. You won't need anything but this seasoning to get all the flavor, all in one bottle!

What to Do and Make with Leftovers Part II

What to Do and Make with Leftovers Part II

I decided to make a part II on What to Do and Make with Leftovers. There are so many ways to incorporate your leftovers instead of tossing them in the trash! Of course, if you are not planning on using them right away then make sure to freeze them! Don't you love going to restaurants where there is a salad bar with a ton on roasted vegetables to add to your salad? I love that! I have thought of doing that on many occasions. Preparing a bunch of vegetables to add to my salads. Using my leftovers gives me the same results without having to make extras for salads!
